How do I get the content I download from you into my game?

I downloaded your content and now my game doesn't work right.
My content has been thoroughly tested and is safe to use in the games that I mark the content for. Please double-check that you have the required expansion packs before downloading. If you continue to have problems, please see this FAQ at MTS2, Game Problem. It will help you track down all sorts of issues with your game (including ones related to custom content) to see what the problem is.
I have an idea for something you could make. Do you take suggestions or requests?
I have enough ideas for content to make to last me until I'm 80. Until growth-accelerated human cloning becomes a possibility, I have more ideas than I have time to make as it is. However, I do write tutorials and help out regularly in MTS2's Create section - generally the quickest way to get something you want made is to learn to make it youself (that's why I started creating in the first place)!
Can you teach me how to make stuff?
As mentoned above, I write tutorials and help out in MTS2's Create section all the time. I don't offer personal tutoring, but if you have questions on how to make something, check out the tutorials and help forums on MTS2 as there is tons of info and answers available there.
Where did you get the design for your site? Can I use it on my site?
The design for Demused Sims is a completely original layout which I made myself in Photoshop. I have worked as a freelance web design artist for over 10 years, and figured I may as well have a pretty site. I am not currently available for hire for site designs. Please do not use my site design in whole or part for other sites. It's about the only thing I'm not okay with people using.

The quickest and most reliable way to get in touch with me is to send me a PM (Private Message) to my account on MTS2. Please remember, I don't help with creation, game help, or answer gameplay questions in PM... see the appropriate forums on MTS2 for that.
Recolours: You may recolour using my textures (or make new ones for my meshes) and share your work at any free site.
My Textures: You may use my textures in whole or in part for your projects - even ones not related to Sims 2.
My Meshes: You may now include my meshes with your recolours at any free site. You must both include my readme file and notify me you are doing so - that way I can let you know if I have updated the mesh. If you would like to edit one of my meshes, please ask me first. I will almost always say yes, and I can give you help in editing them properly and correctly.
Lot and Sim Uploads: You may share my work with lot or sim uploads at any free site.
Pictures, Movies, Stories, etc.: Use freely... you don't need to give credit unless you want to.
File Sharing: You may share my work privately between friends in email, etc. You may not publicly redistribute my work under any circumstances except those listed above. My work will always be available from me, so reposting it unchanged on another site is not allowed.
Credit: If you are distributing any part of my work in any way, please give me proper credit for it in the form of my username, HystericalParoxysm, and a clickable link to my profile at MTS2 or you may instead link here to my personal site, DemusedSims.com
Paysites: No pay ANYTHING for any of my work, at all, ever, unless I have given prior written permission. I don't profit from my work and you shouldn't, either.
Anything Else: If you have any questions on my policies or there is anything I have not covered here, please send me a private message on MTS2 and ask. I am on almost every day and easy to contact.
